Been a while since I wrote here, so here I am again. Tomorrow is the release date for the project's new EP, an entirely record with vocals, finally. It's like a dream come true. But I'll talk about each track and explain the theme better.
The story in this EP is short and clear. The story of an addicted man who's trying to get over his addiction as soon as he can and without looking back for it. House of Cards is a track that tells when the character is under the effects of a drug that he loves, but starts to realize that this isn't a life that he wanted. Daily Dose tells the part where the character enters the rehab and starts to fear that his doses are going to end and starts to see things again or even miss the old drugs. Another Time takes a darker turn on the melody by combining the lyrics of a man that misses his drug so bad that he feels his body crumble down time after time, he tries to stand up because it only depends on him to stop this. Shangri-La is the part where he realizes he doesn't need nothing anymore, but his past addiction caused the family to treat him like a crazy addicted. Even when he declared a war inside him to fight back against addiction and his family and friends don't believe him. But he hopes that everything FOR HIM is going to be better. His paradise is a paradise without drugs. But the final part of the song tells that only time can save him now from addiction.
